Kristi Koeter is a marketing and communications leader with over two decades of experience as a journalist, author, editor and marketer. She believes compelling content can empower people and change lives. 

As editor of the Austin American-Statesman’s websites, she steered coverage for Central Texas’ biggest news stories, including the Longhorns national championship and the Bastrop wildfires. Under her leadership, Statesman.com was awarded the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors’ Best Online Newspaper in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012, and Star Online Package of the Year in 2012. At Undercover Tourist, an online travel agency specializing in theme parks, she launched the content marketing program and grew blog traffic to 1 million page views per month by unraveling the secrets of Disney for vacation planners. 

She is working on her most personal project to date, chronicling her own quest to make peace with food and her body after a lifetime of dieting and diet mentality. 

Kristi lives with her husband and three children in Leander. In her free time, you’ll find her hiking or mountain biking.
